NLP Practitioner Frequently Asked Questions
Do we have to go scuba diving?
Initially some people have had great qualms about doing this! Some have been water phobic, asthmatic, disabled, non-swimmers, awkward about their body, fearful and untrusting. You should hear their stories.
By the time it comes around at the end of the second NLP Practitioner weekend, you will have learnt so many strategies for managing your state, and about learning, that you will be looking forward to putting everything into practice. If you are anything like most others, you will achieve an enormous sense of satisfaction - quite beyond your expectations.
However if you have had trouble with your ears, or if you have suffered with asthma, you may want to check it out with your doctor. Let your doctor know that you could only be in 6ft of water.
What happens if I miss a day?
You will be able to catch up, through help from the assistants, your fellow learners and the trainers. Missing two days has proven for most people really difficult to recover. However, if you miss a weekend, you will need to cover it later on and postpone your certification.
What are the assisted places?
We offer 2 reduced price places per programme for people on low circumstances. This is in exchange for looking after domestics - teas, biscuits and general tidying up. It might be that we offer a free place in exceptional circumstances.
What does the project involve?
You already have strengths as a Learner - probably with a bias towards physical, emotional, mental or spiritual learning. We invite you to use your NLP Practitioner learning whilst learning something else in an area which is unfamiliar to you. For example, if you may take up salsa dancing, explore your relationship with fear, undertake learning desk top publishing, discover a range of meditative practices.
From your experiences with this, and with all your other learning experiences during the time of the programme, you will build up an understanding of yourself as a Learner and your relationship with Learning. On the final day, everyone presents the secrets they have learnt about learning.
