We have changed the type of pattern we want you to spot for this competition.

You are asked to submit your answers each month, using the email link at the bottom of this page. The first three entries with all 6 'correct' (ie fit our map of the world) will be given a FREE workshop out of the Self Build series.

The pattern is to consider the pairings that are offered and to send two responses to us using the same pattern.

Example

I like yellow I don't like blue

I like green I don't like red

I like jelly I don't like cake

I like spoon I don't like dish

I like running I don't like jumping

Pattern - first word offered has a double letter within it. A correct reponse to this pattern would be:

I like stopping I don't like starting

Competition for Winter 2006/7

I like 236 I don't like 472

I like 803 I don't like 562

Pattern - The first block of numbers all add up to 11 whereas the second don't.

Pattern - The second block of numbers are all divisible by 7.

Pattern - These are natural versus manufactured.

Competition for June 2006

I like fence I don't like pavement

I like chair I don't like carpet

Pattern - These are vertical versus horizontal.

Competition for May 2006

I like cake I don't like fez

I like gorilla I don't like baby

I like baby I don't like zebra

I like cross I don't like thumb

I like mountain I don't like ozone

Pattern - The first letter of the second word is one alphabetical character after the last letter in the first word.
