Beliefs reside in most of the Meta Model patterns. It nearly goes without saying that when you spot the Meta model pattern you will reveal a belief.

Take something you are struggling to achieve, and work through the following questions.

 

If I don’t achieve this ..		If I do achieve this
Deletions
	I will be a better / a worse ;  a more / a less

Generalisations
	I should / I ought to
	I can no longer
	I will never / always
Distortions
	it will be a good / a bad ; a poor / a great
