Awakening to Self
Think of an aspect of yourself which you admire and would like to have more consistently.
- Identify a time when you know you were being X. Take a moment to relive the experience, see hear and feel it fully. Notice where the creative feeling resides within you. (1st)
- Step outside and notice what you look like in this state. (meta)
- Step back in, and this time pay attention to Your X, and gain a sense of its size and shape, colour and texture, weight and temperature, any movement or sound.
- Take Your X out and place it elsewhere, and have a look at it, noticing your response to it.
- Step into it and become your X. Look at you from here and discover the connections between the two of you. You may become aware of a conversation between you both. Be open to whatever “plops’. (2nd)
- Step into a space away from both and equidistant. Pay attention to the relationship between The Creative You and Your Creativity. Is there any adjustment which could usefully be made? (3rd)
- Now ask yourself the question: “What gets in the way?” Identify the Barrier. You may feel the need to step into a time when you were experiencing the Barrier getting in the way. It could be useful to step out and look at yourself in this situation and notice the differences.
- Step into the Barrier and discover any new information about its relationship with You and with Your X. Follow through any conversations, requests or ideas which may occur. Make any adjustments until the three entities have reached a balanced state.
- Now stand in the centre and gather all three entities into you and notice what you now believe about yourself as an X Being.
