Begin to glimpse, at what is there
Begin to glimpse, at what is there
Begin to dream, to see, to dare
As courage, lightens journeys run,
With laughter’s, illuminating sun
The precious, gleaming, chink of light
Destroys, the fractured grip of night
And joins the thoughts inside my face
Were in lies, reason, insecurity and place
Lost hysterical in why I cry !
Knowledge is the soil in which we grow.
I know. I know.
Questions dwell where answers ask
And drive the peace before the task
in silent view when sight is none
And pictures in the dots are gone
String hangs trapped becalmed in time
On digits humbled by the mind
Soar through the dip or sink the hill
Monsters rise and fall at will
Confusion raping learning’s glow
claws deep in comprehension’s flow
I know I know
The fertile search unearths the facts
Builds scaffolding that rests intact
On hard found brick that mortars high
Lost reasons in a lonely sky,
To knowing distant quiet place
Were noise crescends the depth of space
As thought travels in its barrow load or cart
It speeds it races to the start
And finds a saturated spot to drop
as percolates through fields of rock
To drag the thinker deep below
I know I know
Horsemen walk on gentles glides
Reason, with the stumble stone resides
Incite reign, steals concepts crown,
And fears in oceans depths will drown
Clenched barnacles screamed tight to hull
From decks that clear the holds lie full
Timbers scared by natures flaw
Carve shapes within the open door
As compass and protractor plan
The radius exposes man
To learn and watch the roses grow
I know I know
Behind learning’s filtered face
Doubt joins in wonders special place
And perpetrates with wonders why?
The crime that answers doubts goodbye
As clouds hold back the mountain tops
They spoil the view for many rocks
Seagulls squeak through whistling air
flowers bloom where eagles dare
Waters lap on snowflakes fall
when microscopic thoughts grow tall
And lie there naked in the snow
We learn. We grow.
