Station House Built over 130 years ago, our training centre is part of the embankment of the railway station. Surrounded by trees in its own grounds, this old sandstone building stands in detached splendour. Outside lighting allows you to reach your car safely, and the attractively planted tubs contrast well against the stonework. With their wrought iron railings, the steps and disabled ramp take you to the main door. Considering we are on an active branch railway line, the disturbance created by the local sprinter service is surprisingly limited. Curiously the arrivals and departures are much more of a feature than a hindrance - and great for any trance work! If we're very lucky, we get the steam Dalesman Pullman going past, connecting with the scenic Settle-Carlisle line - great for any anorak or wannabe Railway Child Move the mouse cursor over the image and hold down the left key to be able to move the picture through 360 degrees
